Boise Kids Arrested for Graffito Tags

According to the Boise Police Department, three young males are responsible for as much as 85% of reported graffiti crime in Boise.

Taylor Tyan Coe and Lazarus James Moon, both 19, as well as Elysse S. Taylor, 20, all Boiseans, were arrested in a dramatic conclusion to more than 13 weeks of intense investigation in the Boise area. Officers have been following tips and developing leads starting with the original "Crime Stoppers" tip, all of which finally led them to two Boise homes Thursday morning, on near Fairview & Cole, and the other in the vicinity of 27th & Main Streets.

Those homes were searched on warrants, and officers collected "dozens of spray paint cans", "back packs, bags, and clothing officers all believe was used during the crimes", and "numerous photos and notebooks that show graffiti painted at a number of locations."

BPD investigators are working with nearby law enforcement agencies in an effort to connect the three hoodlums with other reported graffiti crimes in Meridian, Garden City, and Eagle.
