Man Jailed For Throwing Snowball at Boise Cop
Feb 4, 2008 - 7:46
Everyone knows that you don't mess with Boise cops. With nearly 300 sworn officers and a $40 million budget, you can bet they have plenty of backup right around the corner when they need it.
Apparently Alexander Macdonald, a 32 year old drunkard from the Sun Valley area, didn't care when his friend advised against the idea of throwing a snowball at an officer near 6th & Main St in downtown Boise. He hit the cop right in the face while the officer was arresting some other drunken idiots for fighting.
According the the article, multiple witnesses were able to describe Macdonald's appearance to the officer, and sure enough backup coppers made an arrest shortly thereafter. Macdonald is now in the Ada County Jail on a felony charge of battery to a police officer.
Can't say this isn't what you get for being a drunk cop-hater in downtown Boise. Maybe you can get away with that kind of childish crap up in Hailey, but down here in the City of Trees our cops keep the place clean and safe, and they don't put up with drunken jackasses like Macdonald.
