Hawaii: Unruly BSU Fans Will Be 'Booted'

Nov 22, 2007 - 0:00

Guys like this can cause problems for footbal sports stadium security

Officials at Hawaii's Aloha Stadium announced a "zero tolerance" policy against violence or threatening behavior at tomorrow's sold-out football game, Boise State at University of Hawaii.

Fans caught throwing things or acting inappropriately will be escorted out or dealt with accordingly, the stadium said in a news release.

The strict policy was adopted after Fresno State fans complained of rude conduct in the stands during the last home game, Nov. 10.

Tomorrow's big game is completely sold out, so UH is expecting 50,000 or more attendees, and lots of trouble, apparently.

No unrulies at the game. Especially Boise fans. They were a class act and even stayed for the post game WAC trophy. They applauded all the atheletes on both side that paly a hell of a game. Go Warriors

Good to hear, good to hear. We Boise State fans can get a little out of hand. I wasn't at the Hawaii game (kind of spendy flying all that way), but it's nice to hear we weren't too out of line or problem causing for that one. GO BSU!!!!!

Couldn't go to the game either. However, I spoke with some of the cheerleaders who said that Hawaii fans poured beer in their bags and on their heads during halftime. Also, one of the players wives stated she was inundated with profanity.

When watching the game I was startled by the amount of trash on the field. You can see it blowing across the field.

No, I have never seen a BSU fan behave in this manner.

The Warriors are an incredible team I'm rooting for them all the way. Their fans leave a lot to be desired.
